I am so very sad about Elva's passing! I only knew her for a brief period of time but I always enjoyed visiting with her! She was always kind and friendly! My sympathy is with your family!

Aunt Elva was truly a gem. She had such a good heart and wonderful sense of humor. I so loved spending time with her family growing up. I will never forget the time my brothers were playing with the garden hose outside the window where she was washing dishes. They evidently sprayed the hose and the water came through the screen at her! She took the sprayer at the sink and sprayed it back at them and surprised all of us! It was wonderful as an adult to see and appreciate just how much my parents loved her as well. She was like the sister my mom never had. In his later years, Dad would beam when he would call and serenade her. I'm sure "Uncle Bunny" and my folks are very happy to be with her again and that she is singing her heart out in Heaven. Our prayers and hearts are with Kim and Bill and their families.
