I remember learning to hunt along the Fox River with "Boris" and my brothers for pheasant and rabbit. His instructional patience and observational skill helped me appreciate the natural world with a deeper understanding. I would see him at the Y working out on a speed bag during my high school years and again he showed patience teaching me different striking combinations that I have greatly benefitted from. In later years I would see him riding on the river trail. He was always willing to engage in a conversation and share an anecdote from the past. Thanks Boris.

To Jeff's family my deepest sympathy. I served with Jeff in Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. Served his country well. Will be remembered for his devotion to his fellow Combat Medics.

Eddie in Okla., served with Jeff for almost a year in Viet Nam, we got along very well and enjoyed good times and not so good times, traded lots of stories of home and family. Jeff was dependable and fearless, did his job well and enjoyed helping his fellow troopers. When we met in South Carolina it was like we had parted yesterday, had some good laughs about our escapades and tough times. We especially enjoyed the gathering in Memphis with Sue and Jeff, good memories,
I'll miss my dear friend, even though we came from very different backgrounds it was easy to converse and exchange stories about home and family. I shared many things of myself coming from a tribal background, he shared many things about his family, we never had a cross word, we respected each other. During the tough times it was always good to see Jeff, he did his job well and helped a lot of our wounded and dying. He never complained about that aspect of our job. I am saddened over his passing, he has made his last Jump, it could be said that the big Jump Master has called him home. Bless Sue and the family. Ha-Ho!!
