Schillinger, Marilyn Vivian (nee Kieso) 76, of Champaign, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 3:10 a.m. at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on October 4, 1938 to Walter and Agnes Benson Kieso. She married Wayne Schillinger on November 16, 1957 in Aurora and he survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Amie (Rich) Pankau of Champaign; and one son, Robert Schillinger of Urbana; and two granddaughters, Sara Elisabeth Pankau and Stephanie Marie Pankau; and one step-grandson, Bryan Pankau; also surviving is one brother, Ronald (Jeanine) Kieso of Hearne, Texas; and also 1 niece and 3 nephews. After moving to Champaign in 1965 she worked with her husband, Wayne, in student housing for many years. She enjoyed camping, boating and travel but quilting and flowers were her passion for many years. She was also a member of the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, Champaign. Visitation for Marilyn will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy. Funeral Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. also at the Morgan Memorial Home with the Rev. Megan Thompson officiating. Interment will take place on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Montgomery at 12:00 Noon. Memorials should be directed to the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.
