Richard L. Brown, 82, of Aurora, passed away on October 15, 2016. He was born March 30, 1934 in Aurora the son of the late Frank and Sylvia Brown. Richard owned and operated Brown's Reliable Movers. Survivors include his wife, Trudy; his children, Susan Morris, Robert Brown, Deborah Ryan, James Dobbins and Karen Dobbins as well as 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Slaughter. Visitation will take place from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl., Aurora followed by a graveside service at 11:30 A.M. at Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family. Dad I love and miss you. I will never forget the good times we as a family shared every weekend boating and camping in Marseilles camp grounds. You were the first person to teach me how to water ski. We had a lot of fun hanging out with Marv and Pat Benson and Rose and Billy Joe Couch as one big group. Those were the good old days. You will be forever in my heart.
