Worked with Vern at OSNB.. Consumer credit department.. Always very pleasant and I loved her smile.. You just don't forget people like Vern.. She will be missed and she was greatly loved.

I am sad to hear of her passing, I worked with her at Old Second National Bank and her Father was my mothers doctor at Springbrook many years ago. May she rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear of Vernice's passing. She was the epitome of the word class. When my Mom came to Aurora as a young bride, Vernice took her under her wing and introduced Mom to all her friends in town. At the bank, she was supremely professional while always being easy to talk to. She was a great lady and I am lucky to say that I knew her.

Aunt Vernice was a wonderful woman, dearly loved by all. Though my Mom(her eldest sister Catherine) and Dad settled far away in California, with the result that we didn't meet often, Vernice was always a loving and attentive sister, sister-in -law and aunt, keeping track of all her relatives and including us far-away ones in the circle with mailings and pictures over the years.
She was such a proud and loving Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma.
She was so unassuming, yet her joy, grace love and humor could light up any room she entered.
Deepest sympathy and prayers to all the family; may the wonderful memories overcome the sorrow in time.
God Bless,
