My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you. May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and make you firm. (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17).

What a wonderful, special man and loving uncle to me. I will miss our talks on the phone and visits when we were in town. He took such good care of my dad when he was sick and loved his whole family so much. Randy and I send our deepest sympathy.

Love,
Randy & Becky Butler Patterson

I was proud to have known Vern and serve with him in the Gideon Ministry. Vern knew the Lord and wanted to make sure everyone had the chance to. We'll miss him for a while but will meet him again. He is safely home without fear, concern, or need, and I imagine he just can't stop grinning.
