Born on August 21, 1927, in Crestline, Ohio. Passed away on September 27, 2018, Cerritos, Calif. Barbara lived in the Antelope Valley for 57 years. She was the Secretary at the Lutheran Church of the Master in Lancaster. Part time Accounting teacher at Antelope Valley College for more than 25 years. Barbara was Volunteer of the year at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. She is survived by her husband, John Blancett, her sons David Blancett (Susan) and Bryan Blancett (Nan). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kelly Blancett (Dudek), Erin Blancett and Melissa Blancett (Peabody). She is also survived by her great grandchildren Wyatt Dudek, Gavin Dudek, Brennan Lanz, Amelia Lanz, Emerson Peabody, Delaney Peabody and Isla Peabody. A private service was held gravesite at Forest Lawn Long Beach and attended by her immediate family. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
