I was a nurse in the Sun City area when I came to know Alan. He loved his patients and the nursing staff and comrades in his travels. He was known for his silly humor and made hard days fun. He is missed among many. I am happy I had the pleasure of knowing him.

Loved his family he passed 3 months after my husband died also a tragic death from food poisoning You never get over things like this. Just learn to live with it but they are in your heart forever my husband also was very much a music lover so I hope they are boogying together ! With my sympathy. Bonnie. Chance r n banner boswell

As his handyman for a few years, I was exposed to Alan's "quirkiness" and irreverence. Examples are moving his indoor surround sound speakers 5 1/2" (not 5 nor 6) to improve the resonance, and the fact that, in a sea of desert-hued houses in his neighborhood, he would choose to go with "royal purple" on his home's exterior. Alan was funny, silly and terribly honest and it was my pleasure to have known him.
