Bruce, I ran across the pamphlet of your memorial service the other day. C959 has it hanging in their quarters. It is a nice reminder of a valued, respected, and missed friend. It's hard to believe time has past so quickly. We still miss our missions with you and cherish the missions we had. You are never forgotten or far from our thoughts. Dan

I've hiked Bear Mtn several times since 2008, but I never knew of what happens to officer Harrolle until just returning home today as I check the web for info about the trail. My wife & I completed a wonderful hike on the trail this Memorial Day weekend & we took time to pause at an American flag a thoughtful hiker leaves on the summit. I can only imagine the sense of loss that officer Harrolle's friends & family carry each day. I assure all of you that the next time we hike this trail, we will pause & say a prayer & acknowledge officer Harrolle's sacrifice. Citizenship sometimes carries a heavy cost. But we also sense why he loved his job & why he loved this landscape.

Respectfully,

Carol & Barry Liimakka

I feel foolish after all this time, but i did not know about Bruce until recently. I was his partner/medic pre-ceptor out of rural metro ina/thornydale station. Bruce was going thru IEMT class, i let him start an IV on my patient, we hit a speed bump, and he stuck Me instead! We were the best of friends and he was very much a part of my life. I will miss him dearly! Even though it has been a while, my tears are as fresh as if it happened yesterday. Brucie, I will always cherish, love and miss you! God Bless!
