Heberlee, Charles N.
the son of Clarance and Celia (Maud) (Phillips) Heberlee was born August 28, 1922 in Glendale, Arizona and passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at his home in Queen Creek, Arizona. He was 93. He joined the Army June 6, 1944 and was discharged May 12, 1946, where he attained the rank of sergeant. He served during World War II with the 305th Infantry Regiment as an automotive mechanic. He served in 3 battles during that time. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Harriet and Zoe, brother Russell, first wife, Marge Heberlee, stepson, Ronald Clair Steinman, step son-in-law Gary Bounds and 2 great grandsons. He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae (Parman) Heberlee (married August 28, 1985), Queen Creek, AZ; stepchildren, Lois (Ron) Brauer, Bridgewater, NJ; Frank (Dianne) Steinman, Queen Creek, AZ; Linda Bounds, Albany, MO; 7 step-grandchildren and 16 step- great- grandchildren. He was loved by all and we all miss our "Grandpa Charlie". Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 19 at the Roberson-Polley Chapel, Albany with burial in the Lone Star Cemetery, Denver, MO. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the chapel, where friends may call anytime after 9:00 AM Tuesday.
