Cleo Watt Obituary

Watt, Cleo "Elaine" (Dewey)
May 7, 1926 -February 22, 2015 A closed memorial was held for Cleo "Elaine" Watt in Corona, CA. Elaine entered hospice on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 where she rested comfortably until her passing in her home surrounded by wonderful caretakers, and family on February 22, 2015. Cleo "Elaine" Watt was born in Woolstock, Iowa on May 7, 1926 to Gladys Lenore and William Franklin Dewey. Elaine was the middle child, and oldest sister among three siblings. During WWII she travelled from the tiny town of Woolstock to Spokane, Washington placing decals on bomber planes. It was there that she met John O'Connor, married and had two children, Terrance (Terry) Michael and Thomas (Tom) John. After her divorce, she moved from Spokane, Washington to Phoenix, Arizona where she began work as a bookkeeper and accountant. After the passing of her last husband, James Bernie Watt, Elaine moved from Scottsdale, Arizona to California to be with her remaining son, Thomas (Tom) Warren. Elaine enjoyed golf, card games, and sewing. While in Scottsdale she developed many wonderful friendships. Elaine was a trend setter in clothing design, making almost all of her clothes until the last couple of years. Those designs garnered rave reviews from friends and family and she proudly wore each piece. Elaine is survived by her only remaining son, Thomas J Warren and his wife Mary A Warren, grand-daughter Kelly Marie O'Connor and her children/children, daughter in law Lorie Ladd and her child/children. Elaine was proceeded in death by her son, Terrance O'Connor; her sister, Auntie "Butch"; brother, Uncle "Dick"; and late husband, James B Watt. "Princess Pea"-Cleo Elaine Watt was loved and we will miss her feisty ways.
