Diedrich, David Charles
David C. Diedrich was a force to be reckoned with and he hit the ground running when he was born May 28, 1952, in Covington, Kentucky, to Charles R. Diedrich and Dorothy (Haunert) Diedrich, both of whom preceded David in death. David was a hard-working teenager and graduated from Covington Catholic High School a year early so he could start college. He worked for a large CPA firm before launching his own successful CPA, financial service and insurance business in Arizona. In his free time he loved to play tennis and vacation in Hawaii. His powerful personality touched so many people's lives along the way with sharp wit, sound advice and gift of gab. He was engaging and funny and wanted to help others all of his life, and in so doing, he developed long-lasting and cherished friendships. In the prime of life he was struck down with disabling, physical injuries, but was determined to power through them, and did so for several years, until he could no longer. He passed away on August 27, 2016, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is survived by his partner, Lisa Wand. His friends and family will treasure the memories of the great conversations and laughter with Dave.

My condolences go out to Lisa in the tremendous loss she has suffered. Dave was a true and lasting friend to our dear brother Dave even 43 years after our brother's death. I will always remember Dave Dietrich's bright blue eyes and brilliant smile. I am sad to think of his suffering from his injuries and ask the Good Lord to welcome him into His kingdom with open and loving arms. May the two Daves rejoice together in heaven and may Dave finally find the comfort he long awaited. Many blessings to Lisa for all her sacrifices to give Dave the care he required. With love, Joanie

Dave was a good friend to my brother and our family. I'm glad I got the chance to reconnect with Dave after so many years, and meet Lisa his loving and loyal partner. I and my family have lost a kindred spirit. Wish I had a chance for one more chat with him. I think of him often. Greg

Dave was my mother's 2nd husband and my stepdad, and we were very close for many years. I thought of him as my second father as he mentored me and loved my mother dearly until her passing in 2000. I will always cherish the memories of Dave and appreciate all he has done. May he now truly rest in peace.
