I worked with Ed for the last 15 years he was on the Fire Dept in Fire Prevention. I always marveled that he had been on the Dept longer than I had been alive. I still reference some of his checklist and I wll miss his dropping in with his trademark enthusiasm and cheerfulness I can still hear him "Hey Johnny, how you doing?".

What a great man Ed was. I have known him since I was a teenager, he would come to the hospitals to do the safety inspection. I am blessed to actually be hired by the Phoenix Fire Department, later in life. He was always doing exercises at PC, I even caught him playing work up with his friends there one day. He will be missed!!!
