I tried to keep this short, but there are a couple things I wanted to add. I remember helping her get ready for her card parties, and how much fun that group of friends had at their parties. When she was on the bowling league-it was so good to see her stay so active. She loved angels, I told her one time that she was an angel here on earth to me. Now I believe that she will be a guardian angel to those she loved so dearly, and will comfort them in times of need, especially at this time feeling this tremendous loss.

When I think back through the many years that I've known Betty its hard to pick just a couple, but the memories that are most dear to me when Chris & I would plant flowers in her garden so she could see them from her kitchen window and seeing her smile. Her rose bush that her husband planted for her years ago, I would keep it trimmed for her-she loved when it would start blooming. Watching Seventh Heaven with her, she loved that show. But most of all just being in her presence-she was such an amazing person, always thinking and doing for others. She always made me feel welcome in her home. She helped me through some difficult times and will forever be grateful to her for that. I wish I could make this be less difficult for her family that loved her so much-I think it helps to know that she is in a better place, where there is no pain, but also in knowing that this is a temporary goodbye that one day you will be reunited together. I feel so fortunate and blessed to have know this beautiful lady and for the impact she will continue to be in my life.
Sincerely, Nancy DeLuca
