Rev. Dr. Brooks was a great man who I admired deeply. He showed me kindness when I was new on the Roosevelt District school board. He expressed patience and guidance and I will never forget his smile and sense of humor.
He was respected highly by our entire family and we feel privileged to have known him and to have worked with him.

It is with great sympathy that God has taken Rev Brooks from us. He was most loved and admired as both a family man, spiritual leader and statesman. The city of Phoenix and most certaintly South Phoenix will miss his guiding hand.

It is with my deepest sympathy that I submit my condolences.

I am so glad that I had the chance to meet Dr. Brooks. What an inspiration he was to many.

May you know that he is resting from his toils.
I love you both..........Naomi Skinner
