Rev. Brooks was one of the great men in Arizona's history because of his impact on the civil rights movement. He was also one of the nicest people you would ever know. God bless you, George.

To the family,

May God continually comfort and bless you. Rev. Brooks was a great man in the South Phoenix community and in the city of Phoenix as well. Over the years our families have had a long relationship in the fight for civil rights. My dad often has spoken highly of Rev. Brooks and stood along side him. I will contiue to lift you up in prayer.

God picks his roses...Dr. Brooks touched many lives, mine included. In the end God has said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant"... To God be the glory. My condolences to his family

Reverend Brooks will be truly missed in the community. Before I knew of the struggles he fought and the civil rights he championed, I knew him as a kind neighbor when I was a child. Rev. Brooks always spoke in a straight forward manner and if he said something was going to be done, you knew you could trust his word. South Phoenix has lost a great man.I will keep his family in prayer.

The entire community has lost a true gentleman, a dedicated minister, a committed educator and a very caring person.

Have not had communication with the Rev.George Brooks for many years. It was my pleasure to be his friend during his most active days in his service to his family friends and State. The Lord will bless him for his goodness..
