Dear Pam and Cindy,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I have such fond memories of our childhood in Moraga and growing up across the street from the O'Connor family. I know your mom will be missed dearly. I will always remember her warm smile and how much she loved being a mom to her two girls. We were very fortunate to have moms who were also our best friends...they were completely involved and devoted to their children...I remember many Camp Fire meetings and outings with your mom, our summers at Whiskeytown Lake, Hide and Seek/Kick the can in the cul-de-sac with the neighbors, eating salad with Italian dressing at your kitchen table, the hedge of marigolds your mom planted around your front yard each year, playing the memory game on the floor in your "Hawaiian" family room and just hanging out at the O'Connor home. Your mom (Hank) was always around and available if we needed anything and she always made me feel welcome...your home was a second home for me for many years. So many sweet memories of your mom that I know you also have and will cherish. There isn't anything quite like losing a mom...yours will be missed dearly. You both are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Karen Badal Hacker

I will always remember Helen and Barry at Whiskeytown Lake. We spent several years there, along with other friends, water skiing and having wonderful times which made for the best of memories for all of us. She will be missed greatly, and I will think of her often at the most beautiful lake in the world. Nothing can take those days and memories from us. Joyce Schmitz
