Jim was one of my two best friends growing up. We were all w/in 6 months of age, and lived 3 houses in a row
beginning at the age of 5 until early adulthood when we flew the nest. 45+ years later I still have an image of the first time we met near the rear of the cactus garden in the front yard of his parents home. We were instant friends as we had a lot in common (We both had the same cap pistol and were both amazed at how "real" they looked. lol) Eventually we grew apart as many friends do though. A short time later we re-connected and stayed in close contact for several years, but eventually again went our separate ways. I always kept the eventual hope for another reunion but that hope is now gone along with Jim and sadly closes this chapter in our lives.
Sadness and a deep sense of loss abound, Chris
