Mr. and Mrs. Czaplicki,
The picture of your family at your son's Arlington grave which appeared in the 30 May 2010 Washington Examiner brought me to tears. It exemplifies Memorial Day and I thank you for sharing it with the Washington DC area readers. May God bless your family and tend to your pain and loss.

Kyle - you are with us always. You are our hero and set an example of bravery and what a true American is all about. So much love to your family, always. From an appreciative Marine Corps family.

It has been almost two years since your passing. Not a day goes by that I don't miss you man. God broke the mold with you bro. We all miss you so much and we are coming to arlington cemetery real soon to visit. I wish you could be here for a jager shot tomorrow. Thanks for always being there and being a friend closer than a brother. Ill see you in heaven some day my friend.

In memory of Kyle

There is a flag that I've named "Kyle's Flag" that I see on my way to work each day. I could take different (shorter) route each day but then I would not see Kyle's Flag.

On the evening of Kyle's passing, my son and I drove up this hill at around Cave Creek and Cactus and sat and watched the most beautiful sunset. Below us in the valley was Kyle's Flag waving softly to us. As the sun set in the west, the tears rolled on but the Flag gave us comfort in knowing that it's only goodbye for now.

He was America's son! A loss felt by all. Pride felt by all!

Kyle,
I think of you pretty often, playing football in high school is a great memory. I heard of your passing, and just know you are in a better place now.

To your family, I am deeply sorry for your loss, and want to thank you for raising such a great person.

Hi Kyle

I tried to give you some inspirational words of how I am feeling about your loss this Memorial Day weekend. Know that you are so loved and so missed each and every day. I remember attending your Memorial Service and watching the heartbreak of all your loved ones. And so I honor you and all of our Heroes today and every day. Your sacrifice for our freedoms will never be forgotten, EVER.

Kyle Dagget was my team leader back in Hawaii back in 2006. I was looking around on the internet today to find my old squad. When I saw on a friends web site "REST IN PEACE DAGGET" I had to see if it was true. I gave him such a head ache, I was not a good soldier to him. I am very sorry to hear that such a GREAT and LOVING guy has passed away.
