Our hearts ache for your family during this time. My husband and I saw the processional on K-7 going the opposite way, but we stopped on our side of the road to pay our respect for him, as well as we both teared up thinking of your family. We didn't know Justin, but my family is also very grateful for the life of 2nd Lt. Sisson. Thank you Justin for keeping us safe. Thank you for raising a heartwarming, caring and handsome young man. You have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless You.

I happened to see 2nd Lt. Sisson's motorcade on the road today. I just wanted to thank you and him for the sacrifice he made for our country and our freedom.

2 LT Sisson had a profound and powerful influence on my son during their tenure together at FSU ROTC and beyond. Justin took the time to mentor my son and his words/actions shaped my own son's path to achieve his goals. I believe my son is a better person/soldier because of Justin's positive example. Thank you so very much for sharing this remarkable young man with us. I know words are not adequate during this time of tremendous loss. While as citizens of this great country we mourn the loss of a hero today, I know his family has lost a beloved son, brother and family member. May Justin rest in peace.

My thoughts are with your family and friends. I am sad of heart, but know this was what you wanted to do. I am so very proud of you. You will always remain "one of my kids" May God be with all who knew and loved you.
