Sad to hear nice folks like you are always the ones to leave this pain filled world with the most pain.

I have never met these two wonderful people, but I want their families to know that I am very sorry for their loss in such a tragic way. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that you all will be okay.

How fortunate you were to grow up with such superlative parents. What they gave you will forever enhance your lives. My late husband, Dr.David Pent was in Aescalapians with your Dad and he and your Mom brought sunshine into our lives, always. My heart bleeds for this egregious end to such lovely lives.
Love, Sherri Chessen La Jolla, CA.

Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting this couple they are so very well thought of in their community and have contributed to the betterment of mankind. May they rest in piece.

I am devastated to hear of this senseless, terrible crime. Glenna was my mentor when she taught me in sixth grade all those years ago at Madison Rose Lane School. I'm sure she didn't know that at the time, but I'll always remember my beautiful, gracious teacher and her kindness to me. Her example and good works, and those of her loving husband, Lawrence, reflected a sweetness of spirit throughout their lives. May their family members find peace as time fades these horrible memories and replaces them with joy and love. Yes, it will take time, but it will happen at last.

The world has lost two of the most gracious and elegant people I have ever known. Glenna was the first friend I made when I moved to AZ twenty years ago ... and she hosted my "leaving AZ" luncheon in June, 2011, when I returned to the east coast. We worked closely together for 10 years; and remained in contact during the second 10 years. I could always count on her. I will miss her dearly. My prayers are with all of us who mourn and grieve this dreadful and tragic loss.

I do not know your family but I still would like to offer my deepest sympathies. I know your hearts are hurting and may praying help you to heal.

I was a member of Larry's medical school class at the University of Colorado. I was shocked and saddened by the news of the tragic deaths of Larry and Glenna, and I send my condolences to all of their family members. Watson A. Bowes Jr. M.D. (Chapel Hill, NC)
