For a number of years my wife and I lived next door to Larry's perpetually-in-the-remodel-stage Lynwood mansion. A more cheerful and helpful neighbor never was seen; he helped with everything from cutting of fallen trees to clearing of drains. In 1988, we captured the little tabby kitten that invaded his house and took the little guy next door to live with us (though we suspect he went to visit Larry, after whom he was named, from time to time). We lost touch after moving in 1990 but will never forget the laughs shared with this fine and generous man.

Love you Dad, until we meet again my freind, as always thanks for everything you did , you were a good man . You walked on this planet with good intentions ,2 helping hands and a loving heart. You impacted many others lives and in your creative ways left many marks on this rock. You touched many others lives, both from within and also around them. Your free and back home now, but from all of us still here, we thank you. You won't be forgotten

Those of us who have known and loved Larry for the past 50-plus years feel that this is indeed the end of an era. Larry was one of a kind , and if you were fortunate enough to share the good times, generosity and friendship he gifted, you know you will never forget him. I'm certain the old infamous Orpheus Scenery Committee is already in full swing! RIP, Larry.......hug all the guys for us - especially Matt. Ruth Ann Garner

I always enjoyed Larry's solos with Orpheus when my Dad was in the chorus with him.
