Leroy was such a kind and gentle soul. I always enjoyed the conversations we shared together at the hospital. My condolences to his family. He will be missed!

Cassandra and Family,
I am privileged to have known LeRoy. I met him at work at HonorHealth Care (SHC) in Scottsdale AZ. We shared some good conversations together. We found that we both were born at the same hospital in Flint Michigan, Hurley Medical Center. Imagine that! I would joke with him that he was my brother from another mother. Speaking of mother...he dearly loved his mom. He spoke fondly of you Cassandra and your family all the time. LeRoy was a very proud and good hearted man. He could break out with a song (good voice!) and make everyone around him smile. He will be remembered fondly and with a warm heart, he will live on, in all of us.

What a great Memorial service for LeRoy Moffett on Saturday, August 6 at Messinger Mortuary. Many friends and co-workers shared how LeRoy touched their lives with his kindness, smile, laughter and wonderful personality. He loved to sing and was often heard singing in the hallways and elevators at Honorhealth. His presence will be missed but he will live in our hearts forever.

We say goodbye to our friend and brother-in-law, Leroy Maurice. We're so sad that he's left us so soon, a man who loved his family so much, who would do anything to help everyone, who had such a great singing voice, and who touched so many lives. We're glad that we had last Thanksgiving with Leroy and the family in Arizona and had lots of fun talking and singing songs. I told him I hoped his sister's son got the Moffett singing gene rather than the Fleetwood, and he laughed so hard. He loved his niece and nephews more than anything. We're so sorry to say goodbye to a good man and brother. - Keith and Rolonda.
