"I am writing this column with a sense of sadness. Our secretary
and good friend Leslie Hickey, N5LDH, became a silent key
on October 20, 2013. She added greatly to the Arizona
Amateur Radio Club in many ways. Besides being an excellent
secretary, she was always there to help with our hamfests and
our field days. We could count on her best deviled eggs at
Christmas parties, her smiles at our Denny's and Country Boys
breakfasts, and her willingness to listen to a friend's troubles,
silly jokes, and long-winded stories from the past. She was a
very special person and will be missed by everyone who knew
her, especially AARC members." --- Lori Cripps

Our thoughts and prayers are with Diana
and Leslie's siblings. I'll miss all our phone visits and will remember all our vacations together (long, long ago).

My dear little sister. I miss you more than words can say. Love, Marilyn
