Manuel and family,
I remember Maryhelen's energy & enthusiasm while working for the city. Clearly she brought all her energy & enthusiasm to loving & caring for her family & friends and for improving research, treatment & care for people with Parkinson's. What a gift she has left behind for family, friends & folks who may never meet her. She met life head-on, showing what anyone & everyone can do to make a difference.
All my best to you.

Dear Davila family, Helen was my first cousin. We grew up together as children and lost touch as we became adults and went our own way. A few years ago we spoke on the phone and she shared with me her struggles with Parkinson's disease. I felt so proud of her when she told me about her advocacy work and her trips to Washington D.C. to advocate for funding for research. I loved her very much and I am sad that she is gone. I know she will be missed. My family and I offer our sincere condolences to her husband and children. Norma (Soto) Munoz
