I am sorry to hear about the passing of Merv. I met Merv. in 1970 when I moved here and worked with him in the Roosevelt School District.
Merv. was a perfectionist in every thing that he did. He was a master in dealing with school budgets.
He worked extremely hard for the Roosevelt School District.
My condolences to his sons and all family members.
Rent in peace Merv.

I will always remember Meryvn as a dedicated husband, a wonderful family man, a leader in the community.
I also remember Mervyn as the best neighbor you could ever have.
Most days on my way home I would see Mervyn in the front yard doing yard work in a nice shirt and Dockers (he was also the best dressed neighbor, even doing yard work).
Of course I would stop to joke and laugh with Mervyn for a solid 10 minutes.
I could always count on Mervyn for help with the yard, or borrowing a tool, even driving me around looking for a lost cat.
At Christmas time Mervyn took care of us neighbors with smoked turkey's and pecans.
He also would quietly string up more lights each year as there were some neighbors that escalated the decorating contest.
Mervyn spent much of the Springtime giving out hundreds of thousands of pounds of Grapefruit.

I will miss you Mervyn, I am blessed to have so many memories with you to carry with me the rest of my life, we all are.
