I will never forget the long drives we shared together on the way to Cali. to visit family. I wish I would have listened more.
I would like to share a wonderful day we all had @ The Phoenix Zoo.
It was hot and Grandma F wanted to take the train that day. Well After the Gators there is a rest stop. We all got out , ya see. Beck was there too. Well , let me try to to paint you a picture.
The train was leaving if you know the Phx Zoo you know there are many hills . Grandpa was watching the train pull away. We all knew what was next.
Hear comes grandpa running full speed for the train . He was loaded down with his green lunch box full of snacks ,our lunches , and ya see Some guy a couple seats up starting humming the Chariots of Fire. He was running full. A moment I will remember forever. The best part was seeing him smile when he jumped on the vary last seat in the last car on the train. Thank you for all the fond memories .
Love Ya Grandpa,

Ray will surely be missed at Armondo's restaurant by all of his friends.

Ray truly cared for people. We could not go to the funeral as we just heard about Ray's passing on Monday night the 20th of May.

Becky and Ray were long time diners at Armondo's restaurant.

Our sincere thoughts go out to all of his family and look forward to Becky (Rebecca) coming in to visit us.

Ray will truly be missed. He had excellent insight into human nature and could be counted upon to fight for the less fortunate. I had the pleasure of being in the Spanish Department with him at Camelback HS back in the late 60s. I still remember those days fondly. I did not find out about his passing until today, May 13, 2013. My deepist condolences to the family.

Uncle Raymond will be missed. He was a wonderful man and always treated me with kindness.

I noticed Ray Flores' obituary today when I was reading my recent newspapers. And I shared it with another friend, Gilbert Carvalho. We used to see Ray and his daughter Becky for lunch at the Devonshire Senior Center. We are so sorry to learn of his passing and will surely remember him in our prayers. He was such a wonderful guy, very interesting, intelligent, and fun to talk to. He had many ideas and many experiences to share. I was impressed with his artwork which was on the walls at the former senior center over on Campbell Ave.
Love and prayers for Ray and for you, Becky, and all the rest of your wonderful family,
Pat Casebolt

A wonderful and modest man. Ray cared about others as he made his journey through life. Thank you Ray.

My sympathy to the Flores family. I was in the first four year graduating class of Camelback High School in 1957. Although I did not have any classes from Mr. Flores, I knew him slightly. As a young student I had no idea of his service to our country. He had quite an outstanding career.

May God bless you in this time of sorrow. Ray was my boss for many years when we both worked on the Federal Projects programs. He was also my mentor, counselor, comedian and a history teacher. He was always fighting for the underdog and to right the wrongs he say in this world. There is no one else who can measure up to him and I only regret that after we both moved on to different jobs, that I didn't continue our beautiful friendship. In sympathy, signed, Maria L. Alvarado from Isaac Elementary School District.
