With Uncle Al's jokes and Aunt Dorothy's laughter, they will always be in my heart along with a great big smile. As happy as I am that they are together again, this world is a lesser place without them.

Love and sympathies for your loss,
~Terri Lynn

I met Richard just a few short months ago and was fortunate to do so. He had that rare ability to always make your day a little better, with his warm blend of rascal, good-natured humor and a genuine affection for people. We'll miss you my friend. Rest well.

I knew Dick many years ago in Mokena. What a nice man, great husband, wonderful father and good friend to all of us in the neighborhood. Quiet, gentle, fun loving and always there to help when you needed something. His daughter Debbie baby sat for my three sons. I can recall as if it were yesterday, Dick was teaching Debbie to drive and there was a mishap as she was driving the car to(through) the garage door. Dick took the blame and knew he had made her nervous. He was so gentle; I realized this is the way I would love to raise my children. I try to model my family after him but I must admit I did not have his patience. I am sure that he is in heaven and when he arrived Dorothy was anxiously waiting and singing one of her lovely songs for him. My sympathies to his children. In my senior years I still question sometimes if children that had a less desirable set of parents don't have it easier when losing them. I pray that the three of you will always remember how fortunate you were to have had such great parents. My prayers will be there for them and for all of you. The world has lost a great man, I will remember him always. Len Vranicar
