Dear Jane and family,
My heart goes out to you at this time of great loss. I lost my dad about 20 years ago and it was very difficult for me. Please let this poem comfort you.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Mary Elizabeth Frye

Love and Blessings,
Margaret Ann (Charles) Lippincott

Mary Ann,RC and Janie. I just saw that your dad has passed and want all of you to know how sorry I am. He was a heck of a nifty guy!! I spent quite a bit of time with your dad and really enjoyed his company.He gave a heck of a good civics lesson!! Thank you CNN!! He was super friendly and had the gift of gab.I almost forgot his name because I'd walk into his room and say"Hey handsome.What mischief are you up to now? Hmmmm"He'd smile that lopsided smile and melt my heart!!He loved to joke and loved his wife and kids.Room 1 will always be handsomes room to me!! It was a pleasure knowing your dad!! God bless and take care.

I couldn't have said it better - he was indeed a most kind, gentle, generous and handsome man - who I had the privilege of knowing since I became friends with Mary Ann in grade school! To know him was to love him. May you be comforted with the knowledge that he loved you all so much too!
