The staff at Arrowhead ER will always remember Roy as a man with a kind word and a great smile. He was patient, friendly and we are sorry for your loss.

Never got to meet the man, but he must have been good man, as he created a wonderful daughter.

I got to know Roy over the course of three years as a tenant in his home. We had many long talks. He had many interests. He was amused that I was a Mormon. I had monthly visitors come from my local church. I've received a Christmas card from him every year since, which I'll miss this Christmastime. He has graduated to a loftier sphere. His remaining family can show their love for him by building a family history database in FamilySearch.com / Ancestry.com. He now is in a happy place with family and friends in the world of spirits awaiting resurrection and the Second Coming of the Savior and the Millennium. My sincere condolences to family he left behind.

As Roy's last tenant in his home for almost four years, I was privileged to get to know him quite well. Roy was a kind and generous soul who really cared about people. He always reminds me of something Oliver Wendell Holmes once said: "Man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions."
It would be reasonable to admit that we took turns stretching each other's minds, entertaining each other with our respective piano skills, and sharing our favorite books, or in Roy's case, favorite screenplays, with each other. Now that he has shed his earthly frame, Roy will undoubtedly continue to explore other dimensions. So fasten your seat belts in Heaven, guys, because Roy is soaring now!!
