Sweet Emma! I am a parent from Emma's class, and a longtime parent at O'Conner. I first met Emma last year when she was in my nieces class and they became fast friends, glued at the hip all the way to the parking lot EVERY DAY after school. This year Emma was in my sons class and so when we arrived EVERY MORNING, there she was, always with a smile on her face and a gazillion silly bands up for trade. (AND she remembered exactly WHO she traded WHICH one for WHICH:)
My heart goes out to all the friends and family... Such a tragedy and no understanding as to why. As the grief begins to settle in your soul and the tears seem never ending, I pray you find comfort in reflecting on the fond memories you have of your loved ones and let those be a reason to smile. Moment by moment will soon become day by day and in the meantime I pray the lord can help you to live each hour of everyday dwelling in neither the past or the future, allowing you time to heal.
My Deepest Sympathy
