Lange, Roger Dennis
Roger Dennis Lange passed away on July 9, 2016. Born in 1948 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to his parents Clare and Jim Lange. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 32 years, Debbie, and children Kerry (Alan), Cliff (Naomi), Lacy and 3 Grandchildren, by his mother, Clare and brothers Joe, Tom, and Bruce. His family moved to Phoenix in 1957. Roger graduated from Maryvale HS, attended Northern Arizona University and Glendale Community College, and graduated from Arizona State University in 1970 with a degree in Animal Science. Over his 45 year working career, he worked for many agricultural based companies across the nation. Most of those years were spent in sales. His last 10 years were spent in Learning and Development, training new and tenured colleagues. Roger retired in September 2014 and moved back to Arizona with his wife, Debbie. Diagnosed with lung cancer in the spring of 2015, he valiantly fought the disease until his passing, always maintaining a positive attitude and putting his trust in the Lord. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him. Roger and his family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, medical staff, and everyone that attended to his and Debbie's needs throughout his cancer journey. The family would particularly like to say thank you to Sage, the palliative care nurse, Hospice of the Valley and his Pulmonologist, Dr. Ronn, who was very instrumental in his journey. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Spirt of Grace Lutheran Church in Surprise in at 9am on Wednesday, July 13. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley (www.hov.org) or Spirit of Grace Celebration of Life Fund.

Hello Debbie,
Am hoping to touch base to learn how you're doing. For some reason, I was certain I had both your phone and address, but upon looking through my address book, cannot seem to find it. kind of funny, as I thought I sent you a devotional soon after I learned of Roger's passing.
All that aside, and now that I am over the shock, I am once again thinking Roger today, and his exuberance for learning and positive growth. I've come across his DiSC Workplace Profile - and have enjoyed a quiet moment reflecting on his wonderful energy and influence.
If you have a chance, please send me an email with your contact info including your phone. I'd love to touch base, Debbie. I would love to connect. [email protected]
My heart goes out to you personally, and to all of your family. I don't proclaim to know much, but I do know that grief goes better when you share it with others.
With kindness,
Rosemary Ward

Dear Debbie, Kris and I are so saddened to hear of Roger's passing. Although we haven't been in touch since your move from Visalia we still have fond memories of you and the good Haagen-Daz days. Any mention of Pebble Beach brings thoughts of you and Roger golfing and volunteering together and since in part has inspired me to take up golf as my retirement 'job'. Our deepest condolences and God Bless. Barbara & Kris Larson

Dear Lange Family,. We can only hope and pray that the inspiration that Roger gave to all he touched sustains you through this sad time. He is watching over you now instead of physically being with you. He walks in the light. Bless you all. He surely provided an example of how we all should live our lives.
