I would like to thank everyone that consoled our family with their kind words, thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I would like to thank all the family and friends that helped out and kept in touch with my parents over the years. I especially want to thank my niece Maria (Scooter) Villalobos for taking good care of them in Pinetop for over a year.
Our Mother, “Tessie” was one of a kind. She was a beautiful, strong, loving, forgiving and kind person. She loved to entertain her friends and family with her fabulous cooking, singing and spirit. She had a contagious smile and laugh that would warm a person's heart. She loved to dance with my Dad, sing with family and friends and she enjoyed being in the church choir. She also loved helping out her little community of Superior, AZ.
It was an honor and a privilege to help take care of my parents in their home in Pinetop and when they moved into my home in Flagstaff. It was difficult at times but we enjoyed and cherished several good moments especially when I was able to get my Mom off hospice and give her a little better quality of life. It was comforting to know that the last family home my Mom was in was our little casita in Flagstaff, AZ, because I always told our parents that “Mi casa es su casa!” My Mom knew we loved her so much and that we did the best that we could for her until I became too ill to care for both of them anymore. I truly believe that Heaven is right here on earth and she is always close by her family. She is now our newest and best Guardian Angel that will watch over our entire family!
Thank you Mom for all your advice, wisdom, love, kindness and for enjoying my singing and laughing at my jokes. We miss you Mom and I will continue talking to you because I know you will be listening. I know you are busy celebrating in Heaven with family and friends so until we meet again in Heaven… Adios… Vaya con Dios… Amor Siempre, your Son, Paul
