I'll remember Tom as a pinnacle of ASU sports and I believe he was simply the best damn broadcaster I've ever heard.

It was a tradition in our home to always turn down the sound on the television and turn up the radio to listen to Tom Dillon's play-by-play of ASU sports. Just a couple of years ago, I ran into him at a high school football game. We spent some time reliving all of the great moments of Sun Devil football. That's a memory I will always cherish....

Thank you, Tom, for being a huge part of my childhood. Saturdays were never the same when you left the Sun Devil broadcast booth. You will always be the voice of the Sun Devils! Rest in peace.

Tom, you will always be in the hearts of all sports fans as "The Voice" of the entire football nation of Arizona State University and the Arizona Cardinals. You are now on God's broadcast stage. Peace be with you.

Average play by play guys are a dime a dozen. Great play by play guys are not. Tom was one of the GREAT ONES. He will be missed.
