I am so sad to read about Wally's passing. I only knew him for a short time period, as I met him this fall at the women's basketball games (my daughter is on the team.) I enjoyed visiting with him at the few home games I was able to make it down for. He was always sitting in the same spot and greeted me with a warm smile and kind words. I will miss him.

Wow, I'm just coming across this news now. My heart goes out to his family and closest friends. Let me just say Wally was the man. I met him at an ASU baseball game. He would always provide the student section with candy and snacks. I had the chance to sit down with him and just talk. You can tell he loved asu athletics. Baseball won't be the same.
