Dearest Colleen. You know how terribly sorry I am for your second tragic loss of a loved one in just a matter of months. My heart goes out to you, David and Ryan ... and my thoughts and prayers remain with you. Warren and Gini both are now at peace in a better place.

Warren had a good, long, accomplished and happy life -- particularly with you at his side. He loved what he did, and he was an expert at everything he tackled, be it sports, marketing, advertising, corporate communications, p.r. or photography. God, he was so smart and so original! Everybody loved and admired Warren ... and that love and admiration were genuine. Because everyone knew that he was a genuine, compassionate and caring human being. With a heart of gold.

I always envied that you two had found your soul mates in this lifetime. That's a gift from above so very rare and so very special these days. How blessed you both were to find each other.

To me, WG was a great and inspirational boss, coach and mentor. I learned so much from him over the years. Not only did I try to always do him justice by setting the bar high and continually raising it for my own people as he had for his. I also consistently worked to give of myself to help my own employees learn and grow every day to reach their personal potential, achieve excellence and surpass even their own expectations for greatness. I learned from Warren that to lead truly is to give and to serve. Selflessly. That's just who he was: a leadership role model.

WG and you were also the best friends, baseball partners, and travel companions that anyone could ever hope for. We saw the Diamondbacks win the World Series together. And, of course, seeing the world with you two was a dream come true ... we shared memories, saw people and places, and experienced adventures that I will forever remember and cherish.

Warren loved and appreciated life so much, it's so hard to really believe that he's left us for now. How fortunate we were to have had him in our lives for the time we id. What love, enrichment and reward he gave us ... and what a wonderful legacy of humanity he left behind.

I'll miss him so much.

Colleen,
Wishing you comfort and care in your time of loss. Warre, was such a kind soul and accomplished much in his life. I'm sure what meant most to him, was having you by side for so many of those years loving and caring for him, especially in the past few years.

XOXO
