Adolph Byron (Jack) Fraysher September 27, 1918 - March 4, 2013 Adolph Byron (Jack) Fraysher peacefully passed away on March 4, 2013 at the Wolf Creek Care Center in Grass Valley, CA at the age of 94. He was born in Bonne Terre, MO on September 27, 1918 and spent his youth in Taft, Coalinga, and Fresno within California's central San Joaquin Valley. Jack had been a resident of Nevada County for over 25 years after retiring from Standard Oil Company where he had worked as a Real Estate and Right-of-Way Agent. Jack was an avid sailor, and had a side business, Valley Marina, serving other sailing enthusiasts within the community. He enjoyed serving as the Commodore for the Sierra Sailing Association and was an active race committee member. Jack was a WWII Air Force veteran, a member of the San Francisco Masonic Lodge #1, and a member of the Bakersfield Rotary. Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Jeanne Helen Fabris, and his daughter-in-law, Marjorie Crosby Fraysher. He is survived by his daughter Janet Hayslett (husband David) of Pebble Beach, CA; his son Steve Fraysher of Islamorada, FL; and his granddaughter, Lauren Hayslett of San Francisco, CA. Jack's many friends, and family, wish him an eternity of peace. A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Grass Valley, CA on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. www.bakersfield.com/obits

Steve and Janet so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. What a wonderful long life he had, but the passing is still a hard part of life. Your Dad and Mom were very good friends of my Mom and Dad. I'm sure they are all together now and talking about their days on Loch Lomond St. May God bless your parents and the two of you too.
