Amy was one of the kindest and best friend anyone could have. Mike and Amy were our Coca Cola family for years spent many happy memories of her and Mike. She was the strongest person I have ever known. Larry and I send our deepest condolences to Tami and family. Love and prayers for all.

I was a typesetter at the print shop around 1989-1990. Mike and Amy were an outstanding example of what it means to serve your community and also what it means to work hard. They were both an inspiration to me.

I tell you this, brothers: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. (1 Corinthians 15:50-58 ESV)

Amy was one of my oldest and dearest friends. We worked at our first job together at Chryson's Ltd. in Burbank, double dated our future husbands, attended each others weddings, raised our children together, bought houses in Simi Valley near each other and enjoyed so many days and occasions in between. Amy loved her friends and nurtured her friendships. She dedicated her life to her family, her church, and her friends. I was fortunate to have been able to spend time with her in her last days and weeks. She remained strong, uncomplaining, and determined to the end. I will miss her forever...
