Sorry to hear of the death of your mother. I went all through school with Betsy and loved the family. It's hard to believe all those years have passed, but I feel very lucky to have known the Bidarts. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. It's never easy to lose someone dear to us.

I grew up loving the Bidart household. Knowing Marianne since kindergarten offered me a great snapshot of fond memories. Summers by the pool, sleepovers, walking home from school endless days and then raiding the Bidart kitchen cupboards. I always admired Betty's beauty and poise. I often wondered how someone could keep their hair so perfect. What a classy lady. I remember bringing Shaun, my son over to see her when he was born. She was interested in everyone. Much love to all the family from the Silvermans.

I was a student in the first grade class she taught at Beardsley School along with her friend from college Miss M. WHAT A BLESSING THEY WERE TO ALL OF US who WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE THEM AS TEACHES. I AM NOW A RETIRED TEACHER OF 25 YEARS and I'm sure they influenced me to pursue that career. Rest in peace lovely lady. You will be missed by all who knew you!!!!!!
Cal Druey fortunate member of the first class you taught at Beardsley.
