I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS
February 2, 2016
Dear Alma - what a lovely obituary. Don was such fine, gentle, intelligent man. He is missed already by so many. Much love to you always,
Dick

Don was that rare kind of person: a true gentleman. He was always most hospitable, kind, polite, and saw to the comfort of his guests. He was also an excellent maker of the most mouth-melting chocolate truffles, his secret ingredient no doubt being the care and joy he took in crafting them. What will we miss most? Don's shy smile. Don was one helluva guy and we felt so honored to have known him!

Dear Aunt Alma and Don Jr.,

Uncle Don was a very special person to me. He gave me a standard by which I should live my life as I grew up. His influence helped to shape me into the man that I have become. He will be deeply missed by us all.

Words are not enough to express my deepest sympathy. Just know that you are both in my thoughts and prayers. I am grateful that I was able to spend time with both of you this past September. Those days together will be treasured.

I will leave you with this Irish Proverb which I believe fits well at this time.

Death leaves a heartache no one can
heal,
But, Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

It is with fond memories and love that I think of Uncle Don at this moment.
May God bless and take care of both of you in the coming days.

With Sympathy and Love,
Larry
