Dorothy was my husband Mike's aunt. She and Gene were always so warm and hospitable to me as a young bride visiting with my husband's family. She was so kind and gracious. My warmest love and deepest sympathy to all the family. Mike and I got to see her and Gene in 2006 when Bobbie (Mike's mom) passed away. I'm so glad we did---the years fly by.

I am so thankful that my life included knowing Gene and Dorothy. They welcomed me with loving arms and always made me feel at home. My life is richer because of the two of them. They will surely be missed, but we know that we will see them again. (John 3:16)

We are grateful that we had time to visit with Dorothy this past year. Time by the window, milkshakes, cheeseburgers, smoothies and song! She blessed Jeff and I and my mom and dad.

2 Thessalonians 3:16
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.

Sending love and prayers your way,
Saron and Jeff Wallace (mom & dad too)

Aunt Dorothy will be remembered for caressing all the babies in our family, rocking back and forth giving her blessing on us by singing out her commission to tell the story of CHRIST JESUS.
A very personal and eternal thank you, Joanie. (second born daughter of your eldest sister, Bobbie Jo)

THE TRIUNE
by: Jo Hammond (aka Bobbie Jo Williams) 1967

Sleep came with a soundless void,
Heavy like the pressure of many waters.
It pushed me down to the bottom-most depths,
Until I knew I must surely drown.
And I knew the fainted one was not I.
It was a beloved one longing to be free of me.
I grasped the hand and together
We struggled toward the light,
The pure fresh air above,
And there I loosed the bondaged one.
As I stood in the contented knowledge of giving
Three blossoms, from a Magnolia tree,
Fell at my feet and from each
A flame greatly burned.

Kathy, please accept our sympathy on the loss of your mother. We are very glad that we had the opportunity to meet her. I was surprised to learn that she and I have the same birthday. We will include you and your family in our prayers. Best wishes Ron Nagel and Brenda Lenk.
