•Lead Geologist at DOE/Elk Hills
•Meteorologist/Adjunct Professor
•Master Gardner
•Piano Player
•Chinese Food Chef
•Trendsetter the Kamado Pot
•Trendsetter Orinda Way house is one of the first solar homes in BFL

I am better for having known you.

George will be missed as a fine Geologist, and a very dear friend. We worked together for many years at Elk Hills.

A group of us younger (past tense) engineers and geologists were hired on with DOE at Elk Hills around 1998. We looked up to George and Maurice for knowledge and direction. I remember George with fondness and sincere appreciation. He and his colorful character are sorely missed.
