Glenda was like a second mom to me and I cant believe she is gone! I have so many wonderful memories of working at athe Delano shelter with her and all the laughs we shared along with the heart ache.. Animals were her life and I am honored to have shared that with her. I will always remember her laugh and her giving personality.. she put everyone and every animal before herself. She was an amazing woman and I am so honored to have known her.. You will be missed so much Glenda Sue!.. I love you!!!

What an amazing woman! She was my lifeline to Delano Shelter and her work in keeping me up to date on dogs in need allowed me to save hundreds upon hundreds of dogs from that shelter. I went to Delano my 2nd time rescuing dogs 7 years ago and she was my inspiration and mentor. I do not know if she knew how much she touched my life and how her giving of her time, money, etc. resulted in thousands of animals wagging their tails today rather than being euthanized. We should all strive to have the compassion and love she did for the voiceless and honor her by adopting a shelter animal next time you get a pet. God Bless
