when I was 17 and in bakersfield for the summer, Uncle Dutch drove me up to Monterey to spend a week with Aunt Betty, then I think he went back to bring me home. I really enjoyed the trip up and getting to know him better. He showed a lot of interest in what was going on in my life. We laughed and had a good time. I really enjoyed my stay with Aunt Betty as well. It was really nice to spend time with my Dad's (John) family. He is a lot of fun, and I am glad for the memory. Hope all are well, and strengthened by your own happy memories. Jan Dunham Maughan
