Loyd and Vicky have been great friends for almost 20 years. I very much enjoyed hanging out at the shop talking RV repairs and learning all that I could. Unfortunately for me, once Loyd found out I like working on RVs he stopped working on mine. He said he'd help me do the repairs by talking me though it over the phone or I could bring my RV into the shop and park it out back. There I could work on it while he looked on to make sure I was doing it Loyd's way, which was always the right way. His patience and support were appreciated.

Some may not know how generous Loyd and Vicky were. I know and saw Loyd charge people based on what he felt they could afford. If you were an older couple with little money he was going to give you a cut rate. He once told me he, "was not going to charge that older couple the going rate for the repair....they can't afford it and I'm not taking the money they could use to enjoy the few more fun times they may have." He seemed to always give my dad a reduced rate but charged me full pop when he did do my work. It was the right thing to do.

I saw Loyd a few weeks before his passing and he was tough as always. Vicky was equally as tough. Those two went through hell the last few years. These are great people... salt of the earth.

God bless you both.
