Carol you are my best friend and will be missed dearly. We have been friends since we were 13. That's 40 years of friendship. Not too many people can say that. I'll always remember all the good and bad times we had. You got on my nerves sometimes and I got on yours but that didn't break our friendship up. We had each others backs. Until we meet again my friend. Love ya more!

Cousin Carol,
I cannot believe that I haven't woken from this dream. It does not seem real that you are no longer here with us. I know we usually just spent time goofing off and being silly during the holidays. It was always fun to just pick on one another all in joking fun. Having you and your mom was such fun. It got her out of the house too! In June we were just talking about the good ole days. About the family members we lost in the years leading up to that Moment. We shed a few tears and laughed about some of the memories. We especially laughed with your mom, Shirley, about the time she went in the pool. "Graceful Shirley", went to step onto a big round raft at the edge of my parents pool. When she stepped on the raft it moved forward and sent her in a backward motion and right into the pool backward and underwater!!! Once you get to see and know she was not hurt it was hysterical!!! I remember thinking "oh no she is going to be hurt!" But not Shirley. She came up like a swimming champ and started after me saying I pulled the raft! NO NO NO NO NO I certainly would not want to hurt anyone, ever. Shirley laughed and was comical about the whole thing. She was more concerned about her hair than anything else. Carol and I loved laughing about that story. She had a unique voice and laugh. You could hear her voice in the distance and we would just know "CAROLS HERE" it will be tough on the firsts for us waiting for that loud voice, and sad to know that loudness will no longer be heard. RIP CAROL. She loved her two cats. They are now up for adoption looking for a loving and furrrrever home. They are in foster homes for now.
