Dear Donna, Dwayne, and Debbie, What a joy it was to have known your precious mother. Now she is in Heaven with your dad and delighting in the presence of Jesus. Carolyn was a kind, gracious, gentle, lovely example of the Saviour she served. Miss her, of course. Cherish the memories. Indeed. But rejoice in your eternal hope: you will see your mother again. Prayers and love , Debbie and Allan Bowers

Dear Barbara and the Tate-Dixon family, my brother Norris and I are deeply saddened to learn of Carolyn's passing. Carolyn will be long remembered as a leader, a role model and loving "big sister", not only to Gregory and Barbara but also to the many who followed in her path at Dunbar and Fountain Baptist Church. She was a beautiful person both on the inside and out, and is revered for her caring, intelligent, quiet, self effacing demeanor. We are indeed honored and blessed to have known Carolyn. Please accept our deepest and most sincerest condolences. May the Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this difficult time. From The Turnipseed Brothers -- Carl (Suffern, New York) and Norris (Owings Mill, MD)

I send my deepest sympathy to the family of Carolyn Tate Dixon. We attended Dunbar together she was in my late husbands' class, two years ahead of me. Carolyn was always poised, charming, polite and friendly; as well as smart and talented. I met her in the choir lead by and taught by the late Miss. Mildred Williams. Later in life we would occasionally meet at a function and catch up on each other's lives. She was admired by all who knew her. She was a LADY indeed!
