Charlotte and Ralph were great supporters during our early years on the mission field. Enjoyed staying in their home in Scranton several times.

Charlotte and Ralph were the single most influential people in my Christian faith. They had a beautiful marriage, and genuinely loved and cared about people who were hurting. They shared the love of Christ by demonstrating practical Christianity, and somehow always made time for every need. Ralph preached with excellence in our little church in Baltimore each week, despite a fragile and small congregation. Charlotte adored him was in love with him and in love with the Lord. She complemented his messages with music of a songbird. They were a beautiful couple that showed a lot of love to all, and I have many fun memories spending time at church with their family. Ralph had an evangelistic thrust and took my girlfriend and I to the helping up mission in a downtown getto area of Baltimore. Although we giggled the whole time because we were so darned scared, it made a huge impact on my heart and Christian walk. For the next 30 years I was active and involved in women's, children's, music, and prison ministries. It is now 50 years later, and I am still deeply touched to have been so influenced and shaped by this virtuous woman and her family. Charlotte was a true Proverbs 31 woman that I look forward to seeing again one day. Her sparkling blue eyes, kind spirit, and sweet smile will never be forgotten, and her memory is permanently etched in my heart and mind.

With love to all,

Jenny (Weil) Krout
