It is with tremendous sadness that I remember my dear friend, Debbie Witry. She was the most loyal of friends, always made me laugh, never shy in her opinions, and was the most phenomenal cook!
We shared the mutual love of wiener dogs! We have doxie litter mates as sisters. (Her Heidi was much more spoiled than my Roxie!)
Debbie fought the bravest of battles and with such dignity. I will miss her terribly. I wish to extend my sincerest sympathies to Steve, her children, and to all whose lives she forever touched with her love and laughter.

Be at peace, Deb!

With much love,
Jan Kirk

Debbie did my hair for many, many years and we shared many family stories. I have been divorced for 25 years (and am 63 years old). One thing she said to me that I will NEVER forget and I have shared with my other single girl-friends is that "Single men over 60 either want a nurse or a purse". We had such a good laugh over that. I will continue to share that bit of (good) advice and will always remember that day in her salon when we literally "laughed out loud".

Debbie - you are sorely missed. Funny kind tough stubborn and a steadfast friend. Scot and I wish we could all do just one more Last Bash Birthday tournament with you...

Debby was indeed the Dallas Hair Goddess- the best! She took care of me for over 22 years and kept my hair that real shade of fake blond that kept me going all those years. She was also a great confidante as I went through my 30s til my (late) 50s and I truly appreciated her Baltimore sense of humor and frankness, and would tell me when I was full of it, which I really appreciated. She also introduced me to Ben Witry and his wonderful family, which has been a great friendship for me, my son, and my husband. I'm sure she'll make those ladies look good up there between endless golf. I will miss you 'Hon.
