My sincere condolences on the passing of Dottie. It was my pleasure to have known and worked with her in the Northwest District, BPD,during the 1970's.

Ret. Lt. Mel Block

When I first joined the NFOP staff in 1995 one of the first people I received a call from was Dottie. Over the years we swapped many calls and visits during National Conferences. She was a great lady and will be missed. When we learned of Dottie's passing, the NFOP staff that knew her spent the afternoon swapping "Dottie stories" and re-living good times. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

Shock. When I first became involved with the FOP in 1984, Dottie was one of the first people to greet me at the State meeting. She was always friendly but had that underlying toughness that all police officers develop. The FOP lost a great one with her passing. Rest Easy Dottie. My sincere condolences to her family. Robert W. Ashton, Past President MD Lodge #30.
